Death Knights –The World of Warcraft’s true heroes
The Death Knight class is the newest class in the Planet of Warcraft. This class was brought to us by ‘Wrath of the Lich King’ expansion released in 2008. The Death Knight is the initially “Hero” class and this is why they are so special. This doesn’t mean that this class is more powerful than other classes, it just means that it is uncommon.
They do have a new attack system because their attacks and spells are based on Runic Power. They have two runes with a cooldown at their disposal for any attack and spell. The DK has three uncommon types of runes: two Frost, Blood, and Unholy. Same goes for the talent trees a DK has – Frost, Blood and Unholy.

A Death Knight wears plate armor, deals melee hurt and has several spells that can be cast from distance as well. A DK can also spec to be a excellent hurt dealer or a tank which will make him favored by other players and wanted for any 5-man instances or raids. A DK can use one-hander and two-hander weapons and cannot wield shields.
To be able to make a DK you will need to have a level 70 char. The nice thing about the Dead Knight is that you start at level 55. Another excellent point is that you will already have some money at disposal, set of bags and decent gear to continue your leveling.
Your DK char will start in the Eastern Plaguelands area – The Ebon Hold. At initially you will be fighting together with the forces of the Lich King. He will command you where to go and which quests to do. As rewards for the quests that you complete there you will receive nice blue items and talent points. Your DK starts at level 55 without the talent points which you will be able to get by completing the quests.

You will level up till about level 58 once the quest chain you are effective on changes drastically. You will be able to escape from the Lich King’s command and you will join his enemies to fight by their side. After this scenario you can go somewhere you please and it is advised that you continue your adventure in the Outlands where you can continue leveling. Your DK will have all the de rigueur talent points, nice gear and a nice tale to tell when he/she enters the Outlands.
When it comes to primary professions a Death Knight is no uncommon than any other class. You can of course choose any profession but there are several professions that fit a Death Knight well. Enchanting is advisable for any char austerely because it is useful and can give you nice stats upgrade with the ability to enchant rings. Since ring enchants are only available for the Enchanter himself it is nice for any character. A wise choice when it comes to primary professions could also be a combination of Jewelcrafting and Mining. Later on in the game you will be able to obtain better gear which will have more sockets and this is why Jewelcrafting is nice since all of the gems you can make will be improving your char’s stats. If you choose to become a Jewelcrafter you will be able to craft other pieces of gear like rings and ornaments. Blacksmithing could also be a excellent selection for your DK because you will be able to craft plate gear which you can really wear. With Blacksmithing you will be also able to make sockets for some pieces of your armor (gloves and wrists) and belt buckles which you can sell to other players and of course use them for your own belt.
The DK class is very fun to play. The only down point is that there are so many of them. The only thing that might bother you is that nearly everyone has made a DK austerely because you start at level 55 and it is honestly simple to level a char from there on.
