Making money in World of Warcraft can be one of the most dificult aspects of the game.

Once you know how, making money is not as hard as it first may seem. There are many ways
you can build your online wealth without spending hours of time. Some of these include grinding, flipping, and questing.takes time, but they will earn a lot more gold if you have the right method.
Grinding, sometimes also called farming, can be a very good way to make some money, especially as you get higher in levels and have more options on where to go. If you are just starting out and are grinding for money i suggest staying with humanoid monsters. They drop money as well as descent drops you can sell. When farming to get money, try not
to just grab every drop. Learn what items sell best. You can do this at the auction house with a short amount of|little.
In Elwynn Forest, the Defias are a good way to get started. If you are in Dun Morogh, stick with the trolls. They will give money and items which can be sold.
Quests are another way to earn alot of gold. Also, once you hit level 10, dont just rush forward to the next area. You can now travel around the world. At this point Try going to the other areas and grind out some of the low level quests. It doesnt take much time now that you are higher level than most of the mobs in that area. If geared properly, you should be making plenty of gold. It also will help build your reputation which will become critical later in the game. It is a good idea to go to the other areas while you still get experience and run their quests.
Once you reach around level 35 you should be able to start soloing Deadmines. Deadmines is one of my favorite places for farming money. just drop any white or greys and make sure you have the biggest bags available. Sometimes I have to drop some of the greens i get, because of room in my bags. Check the auction house before you go to know what to drop and what to keep.

Learning to use the auction house can be one of the most rewarding investments of time in. By watching what is selling and for how much you can flip items. To start flipping just buy low priced items and resell them for the market value. Usually, I price items double what i payed for them. Remember to consider your auction house fees when looking at your profits.
Professions can also be a great way to make money as you advance in the game. If you are interested in making money stick with the gathering professions. Skinning and mining are very easy to level and the items you get can sell very well. if you are mining check with the auctionhouse to see if smelted or raw metals sell better. This can vary by server, and even changes from time to time. Ususally i find the raw ores sell better, as they are used by blacksmiths who just dont want to spend the time farming for materials, and by jewelcrafters for prospecting. However I have seen some servers where smelted ores generally sold better.
Herbalism can also be very profitable especially with the Inscriptioning introduced in WoTLK.
