to keep all the loot. Learn what items sell best. this can be achieved at the auction house with just a small time researching what is posted and what is promotion.
The Defias humans in Elwynn Forest are a reliable place to start. If you are in Dun Morogh, stick with the trolls. They will give money and items which can be sold.
Quests are another way to earn alot of money. Also, once you hit level 10, dont just rush forward to the next area. You can now travel around the planet. Journey to some of the uncommon starting areas and complete their quests. It shouldnt take long since you are higher level than most of the mobs. If geared properly, you should be making a lot of gold. It also will help erect your reputation which will become critical later in the game. You will have to do those quests eventually so it is a excellent thought to do them while you still get some experience for it.
You should consider soloing Deadmines at level 35. This is one of my favorite gold grinding places at this level. just drop any white or greys and make sure you have the largest bags available. Sometimes I cant carry some of the greens i get, because of bag interval. Check the auction house before you go to know what to drop and what to keep.

Taking time to learn to use the auction house can be rewarding inthe game. If you watch the auction house, you can flip items for profit. To start flipping just buy under market priced items and resell them for the market value. I usually set my buy price at least double what i payed for it. Don’t forget to consider your auction house fees when looking at your profits.
You can make alot gold by choosing the best professions. If you are interested in making money stick with the gathering professions. Skinning and mining are very simple to level and the items you get can sell very well. when mining you should check your auction house to see if raw ores or smelted ores sell better. This can vary by server, and even changes from time to time. Ususally i find the raw ores sell better, as they are used by blacksmiths who just dont want to spend the time farming for materials, and by jewelcrafters for prospecting. But I have seen some servers where smelted ores generally sold better.
With the introduction of Inscriptioning, herbalism can also make alot of money.
