Mage – Damage, Crowd Control and Magic
Mages are typical mana users and casters with an ability to deal reasonably a bit of hurt to their opponents. They use uncommon types of spells to deal hurt like Arcane, Fire and Frost, and their well loved spells are Frost/fire Bolts and Arcane missiles.
The Mage class can be chosen by the Gnome, Draenei and Creature races of the Alliance and by the Troll, Undead and Blood Elf races of the Horde. A Mage will always feel very welcome in any team, group or raid. A Mage can cast several buffs but the most vital buff for any party or raid is certainly the Arcane Brilliance buff which increases Intellect . The Intellect buff is not the only reason why Mages are well loved. Click here to watch the video Mage Guide
They can also make consumables for themselves and others which otherwise have to be bought from vendors. These consumables restore both mana and hit points. Another thing mages have is the ability to Polymorph Beasts and Humanoids which is why they are also a need in fights with more than one mob. Even though, today, the fights in WoW have become much simpler (tank ‘n spank), Crowd Control is still nice and useful.
Mages buffs, spells that can make and transform are all nice but they don’t make him the best player in the game and it is that his hurt spells and abilities make him a fantastic hurt dealer. His spells are based on Arcane, Fire and Frost hurt. Spells like Blizzard, Flame Strike, Arcane Explosion, Cone of Cold and other damaging spells do hurt on manifold mobs and can place a Mage on top of the hurt meters. He also possesses AoE spells like Arcane Explosion, Blizzard, Cone of Cold and Flame Strike which cause reasonably nice amount of hurt to manifold enemies and also contribute to the overall amount of hurt Mage does in a raid. Fantastic thing about Arcane is that the tree provides the Mage with reasonably a bit of mana well-organized talents, several devastating spells and more. Before there were hardly any Mages with an Arcane spec and this spec was usually collective with either Frost or Fire, but currently it is a fantastic spec for both PvP and PvE Mages. Today, Arcane is used for in PvP as well as in PvE and it offers some useful talents that have mana efficiency and improved hurt output. When we talk about Mages who are aiming for pure dps, then we are talking about the Fire talent erect. This talent tree will offer attacking hurt abilities and spells to a Mage as well as an increased crit strike rating which all together would give your mage an astonishing hurt output.
Since you can also stun players and summon a Water Essential to fight at your side, the Frost tree is fantastic in PvP and also a fun choice for PvE. The Frost talent erect has many AoE spells in store for you, as well as the Crowd Control spells and even a protective shield!. Since you can also stun players and summon a Water Essential to fight at your side, the Frost tree is fantastic in PvP and also a fun choice for PvE. If you follow the talent erect you will find out that the tree can provide you with burst hurt and yet give you protective shield and slow your targets a lot.
In time, by changing and combining all of the three talent builds you will surely find the perfect erect to suit your character and you will become one of the best hurt dealers in PvP and PvE.
