The buildings in Farmville are made with a number of functions in mind. A few buildings such as the Chicken Coop are useful because it can house up to 20 chickens. Buildings for Decoration

You can give your farm an added character through the use of decorative buildings. You can use a Tea House or Pagoda if you fancy an Asian inspired farm. Purchase the Black Manor or Black Barn if you fancy a haunted farm. There are Tree Houses in different colors, and various homes ranging to the most luxurious building currently offered: the million dollar villa that you can obtain at level 34. Functional Building: Storage and Animal Buildings

Buildings for Storage

Toolsheds and Barns have recently been provided the capability to hide objects in the farm that you may no longer wish to show any longer but still don’t want to sell. Up to two items can be stowed in a Toolshed whereas Barns can hide as much as 8. Never use your space unwisely, instead use it on useful objects.

The Garden Shed is another one of the newest items in Farmville. It is used to hold perfect bunches of flowers. Keep your perfect bunches of flowers fresh in here and take them out only when you need toput them as decorations . You may also give perfect bunches of flowers kept in your Garden Shed to your Farmville neighbors. The Garden Shed holds as much as twenty five perfect bunches.

Animal Buildings

Dairy Barn was the first ever animal storage building introduced in Farmville. It is completely useful and houses up to 20 cows. Storing cows is not the only function of this barn, it also allows you to milk all 20 cows at once. Additionally, special cows like Alien Cows and Brown Cows can be held in this building. However, cow heads which can be seen from outside of the building wont be match the actual colors of the cows. Chicken Coop is another animal storage structure. The Chicken Coop, much similar the Dairy Barn, can store 20 chickens and enables you to harvest them all in one go. The ability to produce Mystery Eggs is a very wonderful feature of Chicken Coops. Farmville Cash and Coins

There are two general kinds of money in Farmville: Coins and Farm Cash. Farm Cash is a new virtual currency. You can purchase elite items if they own this kind of currency. A unique item called the Flying Saucer can only be bought with Farm Cash during the Alien Invasion in Farmville. Some unique objects and buildings are cost more and require you to purchase more or save up your Farm Cash.

Additional Coins and Cash can be bought with actual cash using a credit card or Paypal account. Currently, Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted. I suggest spending real money only on Farm Cash; with a relatively short time investment you can effortlessly save up a lot of coins for more objects.

Coins

You will deal with coins frequently since it is the common money used in Farmville. When you plow, plant or purchase certain objects, coins are what you’ll spend. You receive coins when you harvest animals or crops. When you get wool from a sheep, Farm coins will be added to your account balance at once. The same goes for trees; when you harvest an avocado tree, you don’t receive avocadoes, you receive coins. Keep an eye on your account balance closely. This will help you in deciding the types of crops to grow. Sometimes you have to decide between planting a whole farm of a inexpensive crop or growing just a few squares of ahigh-priced one. To determine which particular crop is providing you the mostprofit for the least cost, keep your calculator on hand.

Farm Cash

is deposited to your account each day. I strongly recommend that you hang onto your [Farm cash] and spend your coins instead. Make sure that you always think sensibly before spending your FarmCash. There are special buildings, special farmville animals during events, fuel for your vehicles—a lot of items that can only be bought with Farm cash. Spend it if you are actually sure that you need an item!!!  Use your Farm Cash for rare objects during events which will help get more unusual items. Rare animals such as the Baby Turkey during the Thanksgiving event (although there is a Wild Turkey also available during this event as a Lost Animal) and decorations only offered during that event are examples of good purchases. Buying exclusive items will help you reflect your own character.

When it comes to buying vehicles like a tractor or seeder, always make sure that you’re prepared to handle the price of fuel. A vehicle needs to be gassed up for it to function, otherwise it will be just an ornament which takes up your farm space. You need to think about using your real money to buy Farm Cash if you want a big farm with several vehicles.

In Farmville, there are 3 basic types of crops: Regular Crops, Trees and Animals.  For further info about Trees subject go to Farmville Trees.

Animals in FarmVille

The basic groups of animals in Farmville are Livestock and Lost Animals. You can acquire Livestock at the Market for coins or Farmville cash while Lost Animals will show up on your farm from time to time.  One wonderful thing about animal crops is that they do not rot like plant ones.  When an animal is ready to be harvested, it will patiently wait for you to log in again and harvest it.  They’re a undemanding, effortless to handle way of getting money and enjoying some variety on your farm.

Livestock

The livestock you can now obtain at the Market are rather limited.  Currently there are dairy cows, pigs, and white (regular) sheep. Pigs, dairy cows and the regular white sheep are the only animals which can be acquired at the Market.  From time to time new animals come out for a certain time. Green cows now calledAlien Cow (formerly titled as BOV1NE-09) appeared in the Market for 2400 coins.  “Milktonium,” a crop which can be harvested from green cows can be sold for 18 coins. American Thanksgiving led to the introduction of the “Baby Turkey”- when harvested for the first time, it will convert into adult Turkey.  The feathers which can be harvested once every 2 days from grown Turkey can be sold at 80 coins per harvest.  You can get additional interesting livestock as free gifts from your friends, although the old standbys are offered there too.

You will notice that the animals do not have the same harvest times.  You can harvest several animals every day whilst other animals call for two, three or as many as 4 days.

Lost Animals

You need to keep an eye on your friends’ status updates in order to see if they have found any “lost animals”.  These lost animals will sometimes appear on your farm and request your help.  For instance, to commemorate American Thanksgiving, the creators of Farmville introduced a new “lost animal”– the Wild Turkey.

The following caption will be shown upon the appearance of the Wild Turkey on your farm:

(Your name) discovered this frightened bird in Farmville. This time of year is tough for her and her kind. Hopefully she can find comfort and safety on a friendly farm. ..

The other “lost animals” in Farmville are:

*Ugly Duckling (which can be transformed into a swan)

*Brown Cow (makes chocolate milk)

*Pink Cow (produces strawberry milk )

*Black Cat (makes yarn )

*Turtle (makes eggs)

*Black Sheep (makes chocolate wool )

*Regular cows may show up on your farm as a lost animal. They are obtainable through the Market and can be sent as a free item by your neighbors too.

You are not allowed to adopt these lost animals.  You can only help them by putting them up for adoption.  If you have more than one Facebook account, this is the ideal moment to use it!

Log out and then place your the lost animal up for adoption.  Log in on your other account and quickly get the animal before someone else does!  So remember what I said before, frequently look at your friends’ status updates so that you can adopt their lost animals.

If you’re collecting a large number of cows and/or chickens, consider buying a Dairy Barn or a Chicken Coop.

Each building stores 20 cows or chickens and offers a convenient means to store them, and harvesting them all at once.

You can obtain a Mystery Egg when you purchase a Chicken Coop.  Go to Farmville Buildings to know more.
