With the future relief of Band Hero on its way to the DS the real question to question is are all of these games getting too much or is there really a demand for them?

When Guitar Hero was initially said to be coming on the DS people were really really looking foward to it because it was a groundbreaking new thought and something that no one had dared try before. This game with its problems and it is these problems that still need fixing.

The major problem that this game really has is that when you are trying to play it the peripherals are not designed very well so it ends up really hurting the hands. It has still not been proved that if you were to play this game all the time that it would really hurt the hands but when it gets to the point where you have to stop playing because of the pain then you know something isn’t right. Other problems like not being able to pick a favorite guitar like the Gibson les Paul Custom

When the drum add on came into the game it started to get slightly better as you didnt always have to go around hurting yourself when you played the game, but the add on wasnt needed as you could just use the screen.

With Band Hero on the way with still no way of playing it on the newest console the DSi, have they really bothered to add extra features or just throw together a very tacky game? Well it’s the same ancient same ancient really with the ability to sing too which is going to please everyone on the bus I’m sure.

How long is it before they start to introduce silly things like DJ equipment and one of those bass guitar amps.

With the success of Guitar Hero Activision have announced the new DJ Hero which is set to be released in October of this year. The major question to question here is will it be a stout boy hit or will it fall into the ever growing forest of games that we certainly wouldn’t mind giving up for lumber jacking.

There have already been confirmations on major artists being in the game like the Black Eyed Peas and Eric Prydz so it is hard to see that it won't at least attract the people into that kind of music. Of course buyers of the Guitar Hero Planet Tour are very unlikely to buy this as it is the complete opposite music style. As well as this a recent poll has shown that the majority of people do not really want or even care about this game and to be honest it is completely understandable as playing in a rock band is a much higher dream than being a DJ.

The most challenging problem that Activision faces is the gamers themselves. Activision have managed to bring themselves out of a few being of terrible games to become larger than even EA now wth titles like Call of Duty and Assassins Creed it would be a huge shame if this didnt peform. There are far less DJ’s out there than instrument players so less people are going to buy the game.

Although this is a excellent innovative thought it really doesn't look like it is going to kick off in the same way that Guitar Hero did. I don’t know game developers should start making games for gamers over again and not for the people that haven’t touched a game in their lives, a lot of people would rather buy the genteel DJ equipment and DJ software than buy this game but until relief date of October it is hard to say for sure how well this game will sell.

Of course if you are already a DJ headphones are very vital and it is always excellent to have a pair that protects your ears when performing.
