Game Pads For The Army?
Gaming seems to have heavily influenced the army over the past ten being or so. it would seem the army may have gone a bit too far this time as they have taken the everyday gaming controller and made it into something that can control war vehicles.
Lets be honest here, are there any real benefits of using this kind of thing? Well the initially maker benefit would be that they no longer have to sit there on a mounted position controlling various things. Thngs like recon planes can now be controlled in very similar ways that you would control an RC plane. But all of this is starting to signal like that film with Robin Williams as a toy maker with his evil uncle using children to control military things from a far distance.
Will there ever be a time in which the troops need not even go into battle as they can just sit at home and use these controllers to control all of the tanks, helicopters and missiles? The main reason this will never really happen is because wars are won because of the people, the bravery that these men and women show is what wins us the wars. This is just another selection to take when it comes to fighting a very present war, it will never be used without the help of people and to reckon that it would is madness.
It is wondered how many deutsch connectors and multicore ties are really needed to develop this brilliant technology. Is it really honest to place all of this guilt onto the game pad creators? The thing is, this kind of technology was never meant to be used in this way, the next thing they will use is motion sensing things that can control tank,it is being taken too far. Let us just hope that they used hellermann tyton to make sure everything is secure enough to work.
