The Ultimate Druid Leveling Guide

If you are new to Planet of Warcraft and do not know which class to play, we recommend you try out the Druid.  This class is able to fit the wants of any role in groups and raids, and are really preferred in some cases.  Disparate paladins and warriors, Druids do not need a shield when tanking.  They are also completely immune to polymorph effects while in a shape form, and can shift out of a polymorph with the click of a button.
When utilizing the balance tree talent specialization, a druid gains access to a form known as moonkin.  While transformed as a moonkin, the Druid gains a significant 370% armour bonus, as well as a raid-wide buff that increases critical chance by 5%.  In addition, when someone does perform a critical strike on a target, they will be refunded 2% of their whole mana.  This makes Druids a welcomed addition to any party or raid, as they passively buff everyone around them.  If a Druid becomes especially proficient in the moonkin form, they receive a 3% spell haste and 5% hurt boost out of your whole spirit.
At level 30, Druids get a unique travel form that grants the ability to travel 40% quicker while outdoors or in certain areas.
When a druid is tanking, they utilize their dire bear form, which is an advanced translation of the initially form they receive: bear form.  They receive 370% armour bonuses from whatever armour they are currently in, and they also gain a 25% boost in stamina.
The second form a Druid is able to receive is water form.  While this form is not made for combat, it does allow a Druid to swim 50% quicker and breath while under the water.
Druids also have running away forms.  One for the slower 60% speed flying mount and one for the 280% flying mount.
When going down the restoration tree specialization, the Druid will gain access to the Tree of Life form.  This form transforms the Druid into a walking tree and increases the healing capabilities to every ally within 45 yards of the Druid by 6%.  During this time, the Druid may only cast restoration or neutral spells.  All healing over time spells cost 20% less mana as well.
Druids when they are healers are known for their Healing over time superiority.  They have many heal over time spells that allow them to keep a continuous flow of healing on their target.  Some of their healing over time spells comes with an instant healing component.
Mages often dislike fighting against Druids while in player versus player content because of their immunity to polymorph.  This makes Druids a fantastic class against mage heavy groups.
Druids are the best class for beginners, because they are able to fill any role in a group.  They can be a healer, a tank, a DPS or even a caster, making it very simple to go to a refreshing new part of the game if you become bored of a particular role.  Just stick to this guide, and trust in its information, and you will become level 80 in no time at all.

  • WOW Druid Guide Says:

I’ve never been in like with another character class apart from my druid, the druids can morph into animal shapes each with uncommon types of skills and who wouldn’t want to be a cheetah, to run as quick as that animal and be immune to polymorph. Or be a bear and tank like a warrior will do, a cat and kill like a rouge. Glide like a raven in outland and swim like a fish. Druids can also play as a healer or a buffer any ways they can really help a team in doing raids and instances. Way to go Druids.
