Warlock – The Fierce Enemies
If you choose to role a Warlock, rest assured that you will have plenty of fun. This class belongs to the dark side and therefore their spells are based on the shadow key and fire key. They in the end have powers from ‘the dark side’ which also brings them in touch with demonology. With the demonology abilities Warlocks are able to summon a few types of demons which serve them as their pets, like an imp, fel persecute, succubus, void walker and infernal. This makes the Warlock one of the two classes (Hunter being the second one) that is able to have a pet at his side at nearly all times.
Having a pet at your side makes the game a lot simpler especially because you can usually avoid taking many hits. The Warlock class deals fantastic hurt with a few of the most well loved attacking spells like, for example, shadow bolt. A Warlock but is very well known for ability to dread his enemies which make them run around like chicken without heads. On top of that the Warlock has several “hurt over time” spells (DoTs) which deal excellent amounts of hurt over a specific amount of time. Click here to watch the video: Warlock Guide
When he combines his spells and abilities right, a Warlock can become a tuff PvP opponent and one of the peak hurt dealers in PvE instances and raids. The basic assignment of a Warlock in PvP is to dread his targets while at the same time he applies dots, while in PvE he is most likely to use his Shadow Bolt.
On top of a variety of damaging spells the Warlock has several other nice spells in his arsenal. One of these is the Dark Portico they can summon. This portico is frequently used in raids, and with this ability a Lock can summon players from afar to his current location. He will need a hand to summon a player. The Dark Portico can in the end be used similar to the meeting stones that can be found in front of instances.
The Warlock also has the ability to place a Soul Stone on other players as well as on himself. A self who has a Soul Stone on him can easily resurrect if he happens to die. This can greatly reduce the corps running time even though it has a cool down of half an hour. While leveling it is fantastic because the Warlock can keep it on himself all the time and if he is in a party the Soul Stone can be cast on a player that can resurrect others. Warlocks are also known for their ability to produce Health Stones which are used similar as the healing potions but they restore even more health. At the beginning, a Warlock can give the Health Stones to other players separately and on the higher levels he will be able to make a Soul Well where all the members of his raid or group can click to obtain one Health Stone. What is nice about the Health Stones is that they do not share the same cool down as Healing Potions which means that you can use the both of them in a longer fight.
The class of Warlocks is fantastic to level up and play. Not only that you will have the abilities to summon many uncommon demons as pets to fight for you, you will also have very destructive and strong hurt spells, abilities to dread the enemies, and a couple of other very useful spells that will greatly improve your group’s performance. If you prefer to play caster classes and want to level up quick, this class would be perfect for you!
